Did you know that Tonbridge u3a will be 25 years old in 2025?

 So we are looking forward to celebrating the occasion. We were hoping to celebrate our 20th anniversary back in 2020 but Covid sadly stopped us doing this. So let’s make up for this by having a celebration of our 25th next year. 

We are now planning a subsidised 3-course lunch at Salomons, Southborough on Wednesday 7 May 2025 for our members. We very much hope that you will join us. 

As well as enjoying the lunch we thought it would be nice to reminisce about u3a events over the 25 years and we are hoping that a few of you might tell us all why Tonbridge u3a is important to you and any interesting stories that you can tell us. 

At this stage we would just like to get an idea of how many people might be interested in joining us so that we can sort out the arrangements. If you think you would like to attend then please send an email to Joan Webb – treasurer@tonbridgeu3a.uk 

This is not a firm booking – just an expression of interest at this stage. We will provide you with more details before we ask you to properly book.

We would also like to collect any photographs, poems and interesting stories from the past 25 years (whether you are able to attend or not). If you have anything that you think might be of interest, please contact support@tonbridgeu3a.uk .
